Tribute

The blog world is filled with well wishes for Mother's Day and rightfully so. Though I do wish all of you to have an incredibly blessed day tomorrow, I thought I'd use my space to honor my mom....besides she's probably my most faithful reader!

Mom, I hope you have a wonderful day and I wish the miles weren't so great between us. Through the years, we've had our ups and downs, but I'm thankful to always be able to call you Mom. Give yourself a hug from me and I'll talk to you on the phone tomorrow.

Sweet Dreams

Early tomorrow morning, Miss K. and I will pick up our newest family member. Her name is Sadie and she has the most beautiful blonde hair. How fun it will be to put bows in hair again and brush it till is shines like the sun. Of course, this is all only under the assumption that our little miss golden retriever will amuse us.

But for now, sweet dreams, Miss K. You'll be a great mommy.
