Happy Harmonica?

While enjoying lunch at a Mexican recently, we (the family) were discussing different cultures, holidays, etc. I wish I could remember what had been said previously, but my youngest, Cutter, blurts out, "Oh yeah! The Happy Harmonica one!", all too proud of himself because he'd got it! Didn't even bat an eyelash...that is until the roar of laughter that proceded rang clear in his ears. It is a moment I care to enjoy forever. It sounded so sane when he said it, but the reality of those words and what was truly said hit us all at once.. Of course, he was referring to Hanukkah. With his face a shade redder than Elizabeth Arden's door, he realized what he had said and joined the chorus. To our Mexican friends at Mazatlan, thank you for your hospitality and sparing us the embarrassment of being thrown out. To my Jewish brethren, I'm sorry, but it will forever more be "Happy Harmonica!" to our family. Even in this small incident, the Lord revealed Himself. These moments may seem fleeting, but the love we have for each other, by the love He gives us, holds through eternity.
